Help me style this skirt shoes/boots/trainers

I’m stumped. I’m obsessed with trainers and have lovely orange ones that would go great but it’s too cold for just ankle socks (and I think it would look weird) but can I wear tights (nude?) with trainers or is that again weird?

Obviously I could wear knee boots with it - I have tan ones. I also have ankle boots in tan, ones in black. And calf length in clumpy white/biker boots in black too

I have every type of shoe but frankly I hate shoes and wear cool trainers with everything.

I will be wearing the skirt with an orange jumper

I'd go wool ankle socks possibly? Amazingly warm.

There's nothing wrong with tights and trainers (also a trainer person) but I am really enjoying socks having their moment! Tights and socks together?!

I think tan ankle boots would also look nice. Where's the skirt from?

Gorgeous skirt :) I have been doing opaques, socks and trainers with skirts atm and got a few compliments from women and the obligatory "aren't you eccentric?" comments from men 😂

It’s from Warehouse, via EBay and cheap as chips. I went for long wool cable patterned socks and platform brogues (got 5 compliments !)

That sounds great! Wool socks are the best. Stop me feeling so sad about summer ending.
