Double breasted coat

I've ordered one from John Lewis. It's arrived and it's really nice but I don't know if it's a little bit... manly? What do people think of double breasted styles? I'm quite small framed i think so maybe it's because I'm not used to seeing myself with SHOULDERS. it fits well though.
Do you think a mid calf length double breasted coat could work?

I’m short and broad shouldered and one of my favourite coats (in a teal velvet) is double breasted. I feel it’s feminine and adds a bit of interest to my front so its not all about my shoulders for once.

If it feels masculine to you though I can’t argue with that. I would never wear a nehru collar or a messenger bag for the same reason and I know plenty of women wouldn’t say they were particularly ‘manly’.

The link didn’t come up for me. However, if you’re not feeling it, it’s not the right style for you, or the colour doesn’t suit you.

It doesn't matter what people think. You don't love it- send it back.
