If you were 47 and needed a foundation, bronzer and a lipstick?

I'm going into the nearest big town and they have a massive Fenwicks, John Lewis and Boots so lots of choice.

I don't trust myself to choose a foundation so will definitely need a counter with a helpful human.

I'm still not shot of my holiday face so my usual foundation is way too light and I'm off to a wedding next weekend!

Lisa Eldridge @ SpaceNK.

Second Lisa Eldridge, however this sounds like Newcastle where there isnt one.

user593 · 05/10/2025 09:34

@Summerhillsquare It could also be Kingston 😅

It is Newcastle!

This thread may well drag me away from my usual Clinique / No7!

I always feel too uncool for other brands!

Bobby Brown

Your nearest Lisa Eldridge would be SpaceNK in Harrogate.

Bonjamin · 05/10/2025 09:53

Don’t let the No7 ladies get you with their foundation colour gun: it took three attempts of increasing Trumpness before she admitted the machine was colour-matching to my freckles ‘to blend them out’.

Hourglass is good, or Laura Mercier.

HÆLTHEPAIN · 05/10/2025 09:57

There’s an H Beauty in the Metro Centre too, with lots of different options, though the combination of JL, Fenwicks and Boots might give you more options.

Blingismything · 05/10/2025 10:40

Armani for the foundation
