Once finds a kilt to be rather nice and airy, and so far, no one has complained.

One would have their head chopped orf if they did. Guffaw, guffaw.
(Only joshing, as one is apparently not allowed to do this now! 🙄

I would choose a woollen dress with a jacket and smartish flat boots. And a fedora or trilby hat. Tweed or velvet are good if is cold. I wouldn’t wear denim. Are you in an enclosure? There might be a dress code.

MistyMountainTop · 04/10/2025 21:42

There's a specific dress code for the enclosure you're in. Look that up!

I didn't get the tickets so I'll need to fond out what area we are in, plus it will be freezing and I have nothing like woolen dresses tweed or hats at all

It's Berkshire, not the North Pole! Nobody will force you to wear a dress - some trousers, boots, jumper and a decent coat & scarf will do for most areas. Possibly not ripped jeans and a scruffy fleece... It's not Royal Ascot. I see people wearing all sorts going in there - think outdoor smart casual.

BigFatMumma · 06/10/2025 10:49

I don't even have a smart warm coat, only a hideous puffer thing

Well if you're not going in an enclosure then it doesn't matter
