If you’re quite boho, dark academia or whimsy, where do you shop?

I’m thinking flowy dresses with slouchy boots. Bell sleeves, flared bottoms.

I’m 23, 5’3 and a size 8. I’m 7 months postpartum and trying to find a style again.

I love little lies & an old all saints. Any other suggestions? Bonus points for a full outfit, I have zero creativity but tired of wearing Zara 😂

Etro, Chloe, Isabel Marant, Missoni - all higher end that are I think what you are describing!

Sezane, Maje etc might have some bits

Also Rixo

Disturbia would have some stuff that would tick your boxes.

Oh my goodness, is Fresh Garbage still going? I thought it had closed down… I bloody loved that shop in my teens!

I’ve just been ambushed by teenage memories 😄 I would say it’s more grunge/goth/alternate though.

Agree about Isabel Marant and Chloe last season was very much that look - might be worth having a look on vinted if they're out of price range.

They do quite a bit of that look

Ba&sh, Marant Etoile and Ulla johnson (all on sale ideally!)

Haruka. Independent designer, good quality, reasonably priced too.

I had completely forgotten about this shop! Thank you for the nostalgia!

Free people. Wall to wall boho, but quality control is patchy. They do have some beautiful things, though.

PuzzlingRecluse · 05/10/2025 09:09

Disturbia

henlake7 · 05/10/2025 10:46

Disturbia and Killstar for alt/goth/grunge.
Joanie for retro/vintage.
Joe Brown for boho.
Lucy & Yak and Run & Fly for whimsy/quirky.

(always reasonably priced on Vinted and generally have lots of sales. As you can tell my opinion is from down here in the cheap seats!!LOL).😂

Still going strong. Still in the same tiny, cramped location with the same smell.😁
