How would you style this shirt?

I got this shirt today and I really like it; I'm just not sure how to wear it. I don't think I'll like denim on denim, so jeans are out. Black trousers? Any ideas? Thanks all

Denim is pretty neutral so anything really.

Personally I'd wear it with brown (light or dark) trousers but you could wear most things.

What do you already have - skirts, trousers other than blue jeans if you don't like denim and denim.

Double denim. Go darker or lighter, I'd not wear it with skinny jeans. It looks versatile and you could wear it with a skirt or trousers, and denim is a 'neutral'.

This time of year, I'd wear it with autumnal colours (tan?), or tartan.

I'd be careful of double denim tbh but it looks a nice top. Denim goes with nearly everything (except denim) so I'd be more concerned about the overall silhouette as it's quite boxy. I like it.

I would wear it as a jacket .. over a dress. With some buttons done up so top dress peaks out.

I have this. It looks great with high waist wide black jeans and a belt

I’d be tempted to put a round necked tank top over it. One of the knitted ones, quite loose so it doesn’t bunch up and maybe if the shirt is long enough the tail would poke out and the neckline. I love that look. I’d probably wear it with wide leg trousers but with the extra layer to break up the double denim and show the lovely sleeves I reckon you could wear jeans more easily.

This sort of thing. I think the sleeves look lovely when they’re contrasted with something else.

I love this… I’d wear it tucked into my carrot leg jeans that are a lighter blue.

I’ve got a similar top and wear it with wide leg trousers in a few different colours. Now it’s autumn I’d go with browns and greens.

I look shit in skirts but I think it would be lovely with a skirt too.

yes, I tried it on today with jeans and it wasn't quite right. Maybe I should try a few different colours.
Brown is really the one colour that makes it look good. Black not so much.
