Need suggestions for warm shoes/trainers/boots for winter that don’t look like snow boots

I work in a garage (reception) and it’s very casual - jeans/t-shirt/hoodie/trainers etc. There is heating which works well, but I’m frequently in and out of the workshop and the more I heat reception, the more I notice the cold in the workshop iyswim. So, when it’s gets properly cold, I’m thinking keep reception warm enough not to kill the customers, but wear thermal base layers and socks with warm trainers/boots to keep my toes from freezing! Any suggestions for footwear that doesn’t make me look like I’m going up Everest? Thanks!

I bought some fur lined boots from Bon Marche last year. They are really warm and look nice too.
My mum said its an old lady shop, but I love them!

Ah it's known as a 'fat person shop' here

Ive got some sheepskin lined biker boots, they are Ugg Australia but they are proper boots. I’ve also got wool socks which are phenomenal.

I find wearing ski socks (or similar long thick socks) makes a massive difference to how warm my feet are compared with ankle socks

Love my fleece lined Timberlands

Cashmere socks?

I have some fluffy lined knee high boots from Clark’s.

Id also suggest you get whatever boots you like, but half a size up, put skiing socks inside.

I've just bought some wool insoles (from Herdwick sheep) would something like that be better in your normal footwear ?

I've recently got onto Uggs as it's cold where I work
