Barn coat

I'd really like a barn coat with a corduroy collar like this Uniqlo one and Aligne. However worried I might be cold and might not stand test of time. Does anyone have one and any recommendations?

I’d just go for Barbour tbh. I don’t think the uniqlo is anything like the aligne one, but the aligne one is very like Barbour.

They aren’t good at all for warmth though, but do last forever if looked after and rewaxed. I know farmers who’ve had theirs a couple of decades + . DM had hers for about 15 years before she got rid of it, and it was still okay then really, just needed a re wax.

The Uniqlo one is probably warmer but less classic. As others have said they aren’t usually warm, fine if layered.
