Tan suede ankle boots - which one?

I have a voucher to spend and i have a collection of black shors already so quite fancy some tan ones.
i am wondering between the cowboy look and the more feminine look?
i worry the cowboy one will look dated next year. But the cowboy heel is 4cm, the feminine one is 5cm and i prefer a lower heel.
id wear them to work and also to go out. Work needs to be casual smart with a focus on casual and i worry the more feminine boots will look too smart?

The cowboy looks interesting, the other pair are the opposite of that, a fine shoe but very plain.

I prefer the non cowboy ones. More classic, cowboy ones might not go with everything whereas I think the other ones would.

Non cowboy is more elegant. How will you be wearing them, with jeans etc or dresses? I ask as with some outfits you only see the foot, so the style around the ankle/calf makes no odds

I prefer the plainer ones. Much more classy and won’t be a passing fad . The cowboy boots are a bit naff in my opinion.

Definitely the more feminine ones. I think you're correct that the cowboy ones will look dated in a short time, and I don't think you'll really notice that tiny difference in heel height.
I actually find it refreshing to see boots that are much more elegant, after the years of horrible 'tractor tyre' styles!

Truthfully, I think tan suede ankle boots are already very, very dated.

Oh the dilemna! Very divided ipinion!! I think i will have to drive to that shop (30mins!) and try them on.
the reason i got a voucher is i ordered some shoes and the return was a nightmare so as an apology they gave me a generous voucher.
i dont want to repeat the return malarkey!

Minimalist dressing is on its way back, and seems to be part of the 90s revival. There’s been quite an uptick recently in influencers trying to persuade people to stop buying lug-soled boots, massive oversized statement scarves, and cutesy bobble hats in favour of paired down, more subtle alternatives.

Round my way there’s a definite uptick in people giving not a fig for ‘influencers’. 😅

Oooh I love both. The cowboy boots are a statement in themselves, but I don't think they would match any occasion or outfit. The other ones are a lot like mine and I wear them all the time! Leggings, jeans, skirts. All goes x
