A fun wedding guest one

I'm going to a wedding next month with a guest fancy dress/theme we can lean into as much as we like, I want to be on theme but not in fancy dress. This is the brief:
Corsetry
Versailles
Fairy
Romance novels
A midsummer night's dream

Essentially super whimsical and romantic.

I could desperately do with some ideas please. 💕Budget is under £100, love cool tones, size 14 with long brown hair and pale neutral skin, nothing body con on the lower tummy!

I wore this to a wedding recently, and got SO MANY complements.

It's not corseted, but the bodice shape is kind of corset-ish.

With that brief I'd be heading for my nearest (and biggest) Monsoon, going to their occasion dresses, and just trying SO MANY things on.

I don't think I've shopped in Monsoon more than half a dozen times in my whole life so far, but that brief is exactly the kind of thing I'd say it's made for.

I think I’d lean into suitable accessories- flowers in your hair, festival type corset/cloak/cape/cardigan. Maybe see if there’s something on Vinted that you could build an outfit around?

So I re read the invite and it also had theatrical glamour on the list so I went a bit rogue as I stumbled upon this on vinted for £25! It's corseted, a flattering skirt, and a bit edgy with the feathers. Now to see if it fits 😂 thanks all!

Update, a lovely dress but sadly wildly too small. I have a wide rib cage and sizing up would mean it would be too loose elsewhere so back to the drawing board unfortunately! Will revisit some of these options although I've found these which look nice (lace and beads one on vinted though)
