School run coat

I need a new winter/school run coat. Our school run invloves being exposed to the NE coast line so I needs something waterproof and warm, ideally knee length and not awful looking. Where would you look? Ss

I can’t recommend the Patagonia Tres 3 in 1 enough. Properly warm and waterproof, looks smart or casual. I’ve been wearing mine to work in the depths of winter, and hiking, for years. You can wear either part separately and the hood comes off.
