Ok, I have left my everyday trainers at a friends abroad, they were on their last legs anyway so am looking for a new option! What are the cool kids wearing?!

I really like Sambas and like how they look and their colour choices but I live in a v wet country and fear I will end up slipping on my arse due to their ice skate nature.

I regularly wear Vans (this was what was left behind), but am in need of an upgrade from them.

Comfort wise I also adore Adidas NMDs but they are now ridiculous money.

I want to wear converse but I'm old and fat and they hurt my shins 😂

I should buy something versatile but I also want something fun! budget is around £60/70 right now. Thank you!

I really like New Balance 370s. They are usually more around £100, but I always get them on sale / offer

As someone who also wears/likes Converse and Vans, maybe have a look at Blowfish Malibu shoes. I have a really comfy pair of trainers from them from Schuh.

I wish more trainers were leather rather than suede effect. The tide make around the toe after two weeks of autumn/winter wear isn't good!

I can’t wear the very flat converse anymore but I have the curved platform ones and they’re my comfiest trainers. Am also old and fat….

I also wear converse (have far too many) and can’t imagine moving to bulky NB it’s just such a different look. The Adidas are cool but DD wears them and they just don’t look right ion me.

I have a pair on converse with some sort of padding which makes them less flat. Or try insoles or ffs platform ones
