Hi, last 3 pairs of trainers have all cut/blistered the back of my ankles.

They were too uncomfortable to given try wear them in so give up after 3-4 wears.

Is this a new thing or any tips to stop it.

Never an issue in the past.

Do you need to go up half a size? I’m a 5.5, but I wear a 6 in a lot of trainers. Chat GPT can usually tell you whether a certain style is true to size or comes up small.

Have you tried putting the felt sticky things in the trainer back, as far to the top as you can? That’s worked with some shoes I bought recently. I wore plasters on the backs of my ankles the first couple of times, as well.
