I feel like I’m looking for the holy grail. I want a fine knit, long line jumper that is not acrylic or polyester. I have looked everywhere I have got them from in the past but they are all either too thick, too plastic or too short. Any ideas where to look? Thanks for any help.

A cashmere jumper is what you need. I get mine from https://www.nearlynewcashmere.co.uk/ You may need to be patient and you will need to check stock regularly as they are all one offs. It is my first port of call when I'm after a warm layer. They have lots of other lovely things too.

Nearly New Cashmere Co.

Shop restored 100% secondhand cashmere knitwear, accessories and vintage silk scarves at affordable prices.

@BurningTheToast do you know if they tend to size big or small or true to size? Looking at vinted right now!

They run a bit snug I find but I like v slouchy jumpers. Also, you do have to be careful with washing to avoid shrinkage - if you're buying on Vinted I would definitely ask for measurements unless they've got the tags on! Got caught out like that myself...

@BurningTheToastthanks a lot!

You're welcome.

The Woolovers website is a little uninspiring and their stuff can look a tad mumsy in the photos but once you wear them with your own stuff they look great! And the quality is great. Quite tempted by a new cardie myself now...
