Outfit for night out out…help!!

In dire need of outfit help. In 40 (but amazingly get told I look younger by some type of miracle). Anyway, I’m off out out for drinks with friends soon and have nothing to wear at all.

I’m a size 14 (don’t like showing off my legs due to many blemishes/veins…lower legs maybe or tights etc. I’m 5ft4.

Help!! I don’t have much to spend on an outfit really, just want to feel good about myself after a pretty awful time recently.

what about a satin slip skirt and jumper.There are lots of variations around. Looks great with boots too if you don’t like showing your legs ( I’m the same )

Thank you. I just know I’ll mess up a satin skirt, with drink splashes etc! Love the colour though.
So we may be having cocktails and then on somewhere livelier.

Last time, the weather was cold and I wore a fitted jumper dress, tights, ankle boots and a dressy, sparkly clutch bag. I live in a lively city full of youngsters and students but also people put up to the age of around 55. Prob going for cocktails and then on somewhere livelier. I don’t get out much, but could definitely do with letting my hair down a little.

can’t do high shoes, just small heel or flat!

Wide leg trousers or jeans, plain white vest and a cropped jacket or blazer over the top? The Boucle jackets help dress up an outfit with some simple gold jewellery? A flat Mary Jane or a kitten heel boot?
