I ve just got some black and blue levi striders. I really like them. But I'm not stylish.

I so need to follow this thread .

I wear adidas Run 60s most of the time (albeit not for actual running). They’re super comfy, like a good sports trainer, but look casual enough to wear most of the time.

I just bought some Hoff trainers. I’m mid 50s and mostly wear jeans.

FitVille do wide and extra wide - postage takes a while - waiting for an exchange as as I ordered too large a size so can’t comment on comfort yet but I’m hopeful and they are also apparently waterproof..!

Sambas!

atiaofthejulii · 27/09/2025 23:06

I have reasonably wide feet - latest trainers I bought this summer are Nike Sabrina 2's and I think they might be the most comfy pair I've ever had (other than very bouncy running shoes).

Ladyymuck · 28/09/2025 12:03

Black and white Ons. Comfiest trainers I’ve ever worn

LemonVerbenaGeranium · 28/09/2025 12:07

I have Hoff ones for dry days as they are suede, but for work I mostly wear Gabor trainers as they are leather and waterproof. They are super comfortable and I have them in navy, a kind of sandy colour, and also patent burgundy. And (middle age alert) they have removable insoles so I can use my customised orthotics with them!

I've got these in orange.

V comfy.

My comfiest are Reebok Classics, I wear them all day at work and have a bit of walking outside to do

Holluschickie · 28/09/2025 12:18

New Balance RC 142 in silver.

RoverReturn · 28/09/2025 12:21

Saucony endorphin trainers. They are really aimed at runners but are mega comfy for walking.

PegDope · 28/09/2025 12:28

Gazelles!

They’re so comfy and go with anything (dresses/skirts/slacks/jeans).

ApricotCheesecake · 28/09/2025 12:31

I have vionic mylee (mine are in blue). I have to have arch support and my podiatrist recommends vionic shoes as the "gold standard" for proper arch support and hyper mobility.

Not particularly wide feet, I go up half a size for comfort, but Air Max 90s in various colourways, I can't move away from them. I have tried. Been looking recently at Karhu, but haven't tried on.

Magpiecomplex · 28/09/2025 12:39

I have very wide feet with an osteophyte on one big toe. I have a pair of extremely comfortable Hotter Switch in the extra wide fitting, with my own orthotics in them.

Freda69 · 28/09/2025 12:45

Hotter Leanne come in wide fittings, several colours and are really comfortable.
Saucony trainers are really good for problems like over pronation.

WildCherryBlossom · 28/09/2025 12:46

New Balance 370s. Not the ultra popular 327s. 370s are my happy shoes - ridiculously comfortable

New balance 574 in grey that I bought in the sale

tierralee · 28/09/2025 12:50

I replaced the insoles with valsole insoles off Amazon for my plantar fasciitis. I asked my colleagues in their late 20s for their opinions before I got the trainers and they were very positive. They cost just under £60.

ageingdisgracefully · 28/09/2025 12:51

I bought a pair of trainers on the off chance in H and M. Animal print. Soooo comfortable, and cheap.
