I'll have a look 😊 what swayed it for me in RI is that they're flared and sparkly 🥰 they'll get plenty of wear in December, I'm sure.

Is anyone planning on getting the m&s AC today?

I'll buy it if I spend the £35 but I don't have anything to buy from them at the moment.

I doubt it, but I was just going to pop in and have a mosey at 8.30. Slightly scuppered just now by my Dad asking for a lift somewhere. Does he not realise the importance of BAC reconnaissance?

There's nothing in the M&S calendar that i want or need. If it were £30 it would still be a "no".

For some reason their BAC has annoyed me. I think it's because the cyber incident was a massive p.i.t.a. for customers and I was hoping for something quite special as a reward for all our patience, but they haven't delivered.

I have purchased one of the new H&B beauty boxes for £20 instead - it's a bargain.

Have ordered Fenwick - that'll be the last of the BACs for me. On the fence with HN frag, there are a couple in there I'll use but loads I'm not that keen on. Space NK frag is just a big disappointment to be honest, seems a lot worse than last year's offering.

Ordered with Next day delivery so hopefully it will land Friday!

Part of me does feel like these Advent Calendars have become the epitome of consumerism and a little bit guilty - in my defence I sell the things I don't want and any that don't sell make their way into the various raffles and tombolas that seem to take place throughout the year either via work or school and so go to a good cause.

@keepincool having previously worked in a buying team, I would imagine that this was probably signed off before the cyber attack happened as plenty of time needs to be given for manufacturing and shipping. Maybe next year it'll be special 😊 The cyber incident was so frustrating and I don't really shop at m&s that much, so I can't imagine how regular customers felt. I still think it's pretty good value this year, but only if you're going to use it. I'd probably use most of the products, it's not an exciting AC but if I spend £35 and they've still got it, I think I will pick it up 😊 (Any excuse to spend more 🤣)

I was swaying back into getting the HN fragrance calendar, so after work yesterday I popped into Harvey Nicks to go smell them again. I smelt some others that I didn't smell at the hbeauty event and I only liked 1 more, so that's 3 from the calendar that I like, so I'll probably just try to pick up the one I love on vinted. So disappointing, I put my current collection into chatgpt then asked it if harvey nicks or harrods (I'd already bought harrods) would be a better calendar and it reckoned I would love HN more, pfft! What a liar?! 🤣

Does anyone have an inkling when the Space NK Fragrance calendar is likely to be released (again)?

Liberty jewellery is out, some of the pieces are lovely but personally I have enough gold jewellery and the liberty £100 off £300 spend is on so I'm more likely to buy some jewellery on it's own.

I have had some gorgeous anthropologie candles over the years, but I don't think I'd pay that. Maybe if its reduced.

I got the M&S BAC as I was spending £40 anyway and I looked properly at the contents. There's more in there than I thought I'd use including a nice brown eyeliner I'd initially missed. Also I have zero willpower left anymore and love a pretty box. The perfume will go in my Mum's stocking. One thing I don't really like is M&S perfume (although I did love Florentyna as a young teen in the 80s!)

We're all going to be bankrupt for 2026 but at least we'll have great skin 🤣

I was planning on getting the m&s advent calendar but there's just not enough that I want in there to warrant spending £60. I'm really disappointed in it.

If M&S advent was a colour it would be beige. (for me anyway).

I quickly did a review, out of the 20 products I:
Like 7 including the candle
Dislike 6
Not tried 7 including the car fragrance

Some of the ones I dislike I think might sell easily - Debaser, creed, ex nihilo, killian, frederic malle.

I think it's because we all know how fast the fragrance ones can sell out and don't want to miss out 🙈🤣

Me too 😳. I think I will have a Febvent calendar as well as a jadvent.

And the rest 🤣 MADvent suits us all very well 🤣

That's it - i'm seeing it as a savings account in perfume form - so when I want to buy the next thing I just sell some of my existing booty.

Glad these only come out once a year as this is dangerous thinking!

I'm going to stay strong. I already own 5 of them and there's only maybe 4/5 scents that are drawing me in.
