I reckon Fenwick will be tomorrow or Thursday. I always had the 9th in my mind for some reason. If there's no GWP we are all going to be rather disappointed based on last year. There have been so many duds for me this season, I'm relying on them.

I managed to grab it, they were also selling the eve lom cleansing balm for £4, so I grabbed that too 😍 I might gift that to my sister as she knows how much I love it and has been wanting to try it herself 😊 so much for not spending for the rest of the week 🤦🏻‍♀️

HN fragrance was meant to be on 30th Sept, but I've since seen somewhere that it's the 14th Oct.

Has anyone picked up a Korean advent calendar? Any thoughts on the ones available?

I've kept looking for it, trust it to go up the one evening when I go out 😂 The panic when I saw your comment and the speed in which I went onto vinted to see if it was still there 🚀🤣 It was such a bargain! And the eve lom was a bargain, I never buy it full price but rrp is £49 and I paid £4 🎊🍾 I might already have a billion pots of it but I couldn't ignore that bargain!

I've had a look but too much make-up in the ones available so far. Notino did one that was all skin care last year so I'm keeping an eye out for that.

Ooh what size was the Eve Lom cleansing balm you got? I'm interested in that and love a Vinted bargain!

Just went to check did notino have the k-beauty advent and spotted they have 20% off with the code MIX on a lot of their calendars including shisedo, MAC, Lumene. I know some of you were looking for a discount on Lumene. It's down to €93.52 from €116.90. No idea what the prices are in UK£.

My DH goes mad with the deodorant and I end up coughing and trying to clear my throat. It is a bone of contention….it drives me mad. 😠

Oh my husband does that too, it makes me sneeze as well 😡 I especially hate it when he does it before leaving for work then closes the door - arrrgh!!

I don’t like Escentric molecules either, well some are passable but I definitely wouldn’t rush out to purchase.

I hate the escentric molecules so much I sold a full sized one for £3 on vinted and that was three times it's worth in my mind 😅 the poor soul that bought it probably thought they were getting a bargain 🤢

I love Escentric 02 from last years SNK fragrance calendar. Never thought to check Vinted but might do now if others dislike and are selling on!

Sorry to derail when you are all talking about fragrance but I’m just popping on to say that after someone on a previous thread linked to the face the future festive edit I bought the hydration edit. I was able to stack codes and use points and got it for just over £70. I am obsessed with the bioeffect egf serum! My skin feels amazing, is much more even and glowy and I have had loads of people comment that I look good.

Hi all, I have my first ever Liberty beauty advent calendar on the way to me!

I don’t buy beauty advent calendars every year, although I bought the first ever Selfridges beauty advent in 2010, the LookFantastic Alice in Wonderland advent calendar a number of years later - the box is still going strong! - and Elemis, Lumene, M&S and H&B once each since that.

I wasn’t going to get one this year but my DH wanted to treat me so I am very excited!

I’d be interested too as I keep looking at them. I bought this from Boots this week and would now like to buy more products but I’m a novice and don’t quite know what I need.

It really is. I’ve never had a product make such a visible difference before. Shame it’s so expensive!

I originally wanted a k beauty calendar but couldn’t find one that was what I wanted and got impatient and seduced by the e-spa calendar so got that instead.

K-beauty is obviously having a moment and I have also bought a few products to try over the past year or so. All I can say (because I always read the ingredients) is that some may be a bit emperor’s new clothes as they don’t seem to offer anything different than say your bog standard moisturiser or toner but there are lots of great products using different ingredients and being a bit more pure in their formulations. Unfortunately I think some companies have jumped on the bandwagon and made a cheap and basic product and labelled it as k-beauty when actually it doesn’t offer anything special.

Edited to add that I think advent calendars and edits like the one in boots (iherb also have a reasonable one) are a great way to try the different products and to find out which you like and which actually work.

I love the Bioeffect serum too. I managed to grab one for £10 from Vinted a little while ago which I was very excited about!

I just had a look at the hydration edit and it looks really good but unfortunately it is out of stock.

I've been using k beauty products for 15+ years now. The products are usually far superior to western products because they contain natural ingredients and proven actives with very little, if any, filler. There are some great books around re the products and what order you use them in but they then basically layer multiple products for maximum effect and hydration so maybe cleanser, acid toner, hydrating toner, essence, serum, moisturiser, sunscreen as a basic. If you have a specific skin problem such as acne or pigmentation then I think their products are second to none. I had a large dark area of pigmentation on my cheek that has completely gone now, it took time, but its gone. The Boots box is really good value and ive bought one for my nieces. Off to look what k beauty advent there are now 😊
