I was thinking the same but when I googled the scent it says it's not a sickly sweet strawberry. Nowhere close to me stocks it and the only Malin and Goetz I've tried before was only ok. I think it came in CB BAC a few years ago.

Queen of the night is great, especially for saffron fans.

I didn’t like Merchant of Venice or Graff from last years Harrods calendar. However, I’m not a fan of very strong fragrances, and both of these are very strong. I also wasn’t keen on Oriana, but I liked the Roja. Maybe I’m just fussy! 😂

Does anyone know (sorry if already been asked!) but does the current 15% off at HN cover the advents?

Oh no! 🤣 Did you get the Harrods fragrance calendar this year? If so, which ones did you like?

These decisions are all too much…I hate FOMO, but don’t want buyers remorse either. I’m definitely overthinking it! I do have £30 in points I need to use by December, so it’s tempting 😅

I did! Maybe I shouldn’t have, but I got my money back selling the ones that I didn’t like!

This year I think I will use Roja, Sand & Skin, Gris Charnel, Nishane, Ganymede, Thamene and possibly the Jo Malone in the depths of winter (although it is a heavy scent, it seems to improve if you leave it for 30 mins or so).

I didn't like any of the others! 😂. Especially not Valaya. I wanted to like it because the bottle is so pretty, but it just smells awful on my skin.

I tried it as soon as my voucher came in but unfortunately didn't work for me!

Someone is selling the mascara from the JL calendar for £18 on Vinted if anyone is interested in that.

My sense of smell is shocking, I can now only smell perfume if I give my wrists a good sniff!
But everyone else say I smell good and they always know when I am in the office! Which makes me wonder if my fours squirts is too much? One each side of neck and one on each wrist, too much?

That’s sounds fine, but it depends on the strength. When your work colleagues start coughing and choking that might be the time to go a little lighter on the quantity!

Went into M&S today, was told the advent calendars are all upstairs and waiting! I’m considering putting my DC in breakfast club so I can get it at 8.30am on Thursday - is that peak RHOBAC? 😂 Not as mad as it sounds, need things for the weekend that I put off buying today but won’t really get a chance again til next Tuesday.

Last year they still had dozens of the beauty ACs in my store 3 or 4 weeks later.

I'm the same, except for the points.

Even if I did find somewhere to smell them, I could still change my mind. I wasn't a fan of the Irish Leather and the Oud Elixir in last year's HN fragrance calendar. I gave them a 3/10 and a 5/10 respectively. But I persevered with them just to see and would now rank them both as a 7/10. I'm still not a fan of Escentric 02 (4/10) and unfortunately that is one of the 30ml.

Actually, this is a good point. I have asthma and my old boss used to drown herself in perfume before she went to every meeting. I'd be hanging out of the window wheezing and choking. It might sound OTT, but my hospital immunology department now insist that patients and people accompanying them arrive not wearing any kind of perfume. Me and my DD also have issues just walking through the JL beauty dept. Sauvage by Dior in particular is an absolute killer! I've not been able to use aerosols for decades and this isn't unusual these days as more people have allergies and asthma than ever before.

(Obviously, I'm not in the market for any Fragrance ACs)

@MrsBnow12 thanks for the link to the EL mascara - it looks great but sadly sold out by the time I checked - good bargain for £10. I need to be more on the ball for the £10 Tuesdays as I'm always late to the party and the good stuff is sold out and it's only boring stuff (& sex toys) left 😂
@BakeOffRewatch I'm going to get that eye kit it looks so nice! I don't think I have dry eyes but it just sounds like a soothing treat
Weirdly I don't have oily eyelids and shadow stays put all day, it's just mascaras which seem to transfer under my eyes (not onto the lids). Another one I've tried was bobbi brown which was dreadful (also in today's £10 Tuesday) .. I also looked at the kat von d tubing but it had TERRIBLE reviews!!

Good to know, thank you. I’m not worried about it running out, just timing buying stuff I need with the minimum spend.

Does anyone have any intel on the release dates for HN fragrance calendar and Fenwick BAC? Those are the only two left on my wish list now- decided to give Space nk frag a swerve

I cracked and ordered the Korres one, having originally planned to do H&B only. I like the idea of having a little treat each morning in January- it’s always such a long dismal month.

Not sure about HN but Fenwick say it will be available early October so I imagine that will be released any day. I am keeping an eye on this one for a friend.
