Notino did a K-beauty one last year so may do one again. Last year's was all skincare so would suit me. That won't be out until late this month or early next month though.

I really wanted to like the LIB as you are right they usually do some great tiktok deals around black Friday but this year it just doesn't appeal. Ditto OK Beauty as I have some ok points which I was hoping I could redeem against but again I think it is a no. Although I may do the maths on this as I do like the bobby brown and the Gatineau looks interesting. Not sure the house can take another eye cream though
I think I have inherited through advents or bought 4 in the last month and I had at least 3 in my stash already and they just last forever. One of the reasons it was an instant no for John Lewis as this has 3 in the advent😂
Alternatively I may just cherry pick some of my favourite items from other calendars from vinted now .
I can't believe decision making is almost over though it's been great fun discussing everything with you all. Fingers crossed we have a reprieve with some great offers later in the months and they don't just sell out now

I’ve been sent a code by LiB for £29.99 off the BAC plus free delivery. It’s from an Instagram competition/sign-up.
I’m sure everyone who ‘entered’ will have ‘won’, nevertheless less I am tempted at £90 - even if it’s only to save refreshing the TikTok pages for a random code I never seem to get!

Edit: I’m definitely not buying if the code only brings it down to £120!

Last year i managed to get the Latest in beauty calendar for £70 from tiktok. If I can pick it up for around that price I might get it but would actually prefer ASOS if it gets discounted. I would just use it to split for gifts. Otherwise I'm looking forward to seeing which edits are released for Xmas. ASOS have a few at the moment which would be great for gifts around the £25 mark.

Lib is a huge swing and a miss for me. Very little I'd use and about 5 things I've already had/got.

• Charlotte Tilbury contour wand (NOT the pink or gold one)
• CT pillow talk lip liner
• CT brown eyeliner pencil

My niece has somehow gone from asking Santa for toys to a very specific beauty list 😂

It’s expensive to buy the three individually so I was hoping for a set or similar, maybe with extras to put away for her birthday/gift her mum.

If anyone's thinking for their DIY advent. From the Space NK. The Bader retinol is super gentle. My sensitive skin hasn't reacted at all. Used 3 times now.
Also the living cleansing balm is lovely. not as fragranced as the Elemis, best of all it rinses off really well leaving skin soft. You only need a really small amount.

Was swithering about OK last time on the first drop and was too late , as it actually sold out ( not just marketing nonsense as I had thought so was ignoring )

Today I got 2 emails from them , one taking the AC to 89 and the other 99. That was the decider and have ordered it at 89 which I feel is good value considering I do like most of the contents and I rate HM.
The code was ADVENT89 if anyone wants to try it .

Well I thought I'd seen that harvey nicks would be on sale for reward members on 30th Sept, but it's not yet on sale 😕 according to beauty detective it's been moved to 14th Oct. I'm not sure about any of the others. So basically, no I've got no idea either 🤣

Well John Lewis didn't give me any beauty vouchers in their new rewards so the AC is definitely off the table. It wasn't really on the table recently but I may have been mildly tempted with money off.

I got £10 off a £130+ spend, but its still not enough to tempt me.

I've completely lost the plot now. When is Fenwick due to drop again? I think that's all I'm waiting for now. I'll probably still just buy the Next premium after everything, though.

@OvaHere John Lewis didn't give me anything either. I don't understand their marketing. I have bought the calendar religiously for the last 3 years and last year went crazy for their beauty boxes etc so spent about £400 this time last year on beauty. I am also incredibly weak willed and can't resist a money off offer You would think they would offer me a £10 off based on this but no. Admittedly I am not in the market for 3 eye creams and multiple lip products but they don't know that and like I said incredibly weak willed in the face of a potential bargain so may have bought it even though I don't need it just because it has a le labo perfume in it. Oh well their loss

For the JL rewards, I didn’t get anything useful either. They have missed an opportunity for those who were on the fence about the BAC given its increased cost this year.
I got a gift voucher with a bit tech spend, and £10 off £100 womens clothing spend - neither of which I will be using

No decent JL rewards for me either. The free Clarins treatment they have offered is a pretty good deal, to be fair, but I can’t bear beauty treatments/makeovers so wasted on me.

@Thelifeofawife I just got the tech offer, nothing else. I've never bought tech from JL only clothes and beauty and they never offer me either.

JL was much better last year, I got a couple of £10 off beauty offers and at that point I’d only purchased 1 BAC off them, since then I bought a second BAC a few weeks later plus beauty boxes. They need to up their game

I share my BACs with my two DDs. I’ve bought the Boots skincare one and the OK Hannah Martin one. I’ve also bought the perfume shop one. I think it’s a great mix of products we will all like.

I am considering one more and can’t decide between ASOS and Beauty Bay. I bought ASOS last year and then it was reduced in price which was annoying. What do people think is the best value? I like the majority of products in both.

I've only got the tech thing too. Which is a really shit offer of a voucher off spend which you then have to use before Christmas.

I’ve had another look at LiB, I like it more. I’ll get if meds than £100 offer.
