Erborian/alternative BB and CC shades help!

I really like the Erborian CC products but I am struggling to find the right shade for me- in the summer I can get away with Dore (I am light olive/sallowy tone if I've caught the sun a bit) albeit maybe a little more orange than I'd like. But the light (clair) one makes me look a bit pasty and ill even in winter.

Is there a compromise shade in the Erborian BB that might work better for me? I've tried the L'Oréal Paris magic BB in medium light and it's just about ok but still a bit pinky and pale. And I don't like it as a product as much either.

Have you tried the colour match on the Erborian website? You enter a shade that suits you for a particular brand and it tells you the closest match. I haven't tested it out yet, but I found the online colour matching with Il Makiage gave a better result than those from instore sales consultants for big brands.

I saw it but unfortunately as I don't ever wear foundation or anything like that I haven't got anything to compare with 😂

It's long-winded but worked for me with choosing an Il Makiage foundation. You can then put the recommended product and shade into the Erborian website. No idea if that'll give you a good match though, as Erborian only have a few shades to choose from.
