Outfit / wardrobe planning app question

If you use something like Whering, how to you group up your looks / outfits?

I have started by function / occasion / Season like WFH or Weekened Summer but feel like there a lot of overlaps with just accessories making a difference. Just curious how others group their outfits? Thank you.

I have dated seasonal folders such as Summer 25, Transition Summer to Autumn 25, Autumn 25, Winter 25/26 etc
I also have separate work seasonal ones and ones for specific trips and holidays.
I really enjoy outfit planning. It means I get so much more out of my clothes as I can see their potential in a range of outfits/situations. Definitely stops overbuying when you see how many outfits you can make!

@PaquitaSalas Thank you. Yes, I also used it for trips to avoid overpacking and sometimes to help decide what colour bags / shoes. And it also sometimes makes me realise that I have already enough clothes. I was going over it yesterday and changing some looks because e.g. styles looked dated or not me anymore but different shoes made all the difference.

I’ve just started using Whering. Have uploaded most of my wardrobe and now facing the same issue about sorting outfits. Think I’m going to try occasion and season. Have lost a lot of weight and have an entirely new wardrobe and it’s helping me to focus my purchases!

I use Stylebook. My outfits are divided into casual, smart casual, smart, and occasion. I occasionally move the outfits around within them so the ones most suited to the season - or that include items that I’m particularly enjoying wearing - are at the top of each folder.
