Can anyone recommend where I can buy separate tankini and bikini ops and bottoms for a

I've lost a couple of stone since January and none of my swimwear fits me any more. I swim most mornings before work so have got a couple of cheap ones piece costumes that I wear on rinse and repeat. But I've not got any bikinis/tankinis that fit me

The problem is I've lost much more weight from my bottom half than my top half. I did have stuff in S14 but I'm now a 12 on my top half and an 8 on my bottom. So if I bought a set I'd have to buy a 12 to fit my chest but the bottoms would fall straight off.

I haven't got a huge budget, mostly because I'm having to buy a lot of new clothes/underwear, but we are going to the Caribbean in January so I'd like a couple of nice bikinis or tankinis.

Any ideas where to look?

ETA sorry, not sure what happened with the post title and I cant edit it!

Do you need bra sized tops? I like Bravissimo and Freya but then always shop around to see if I can find the ones I like cheaper (I often can). M&S also do separates.

I've posted about this one many times on here. I have massive boobs and its the only swim wear I have which isn't wired and holds me up. They used to have bikini bottoms, fuller briefs and also a skirted option. They might come in other colours too.

Me too, can be expensive but usually there are offers on. Good quality, fit true to size.

RandomMess · 21/09/2025 15:41

As already recommended Lands End has a huge selection.

Boden

I find Boden design for quite flat chested and narrow backed women. But I haven't looked for a while. Might be out of my price point

I'm now a 34 E I think. I was a 38 DD.

I got a tankini set off Amazon quite cheaply so you could just buy two in different sizes ?

APurpleSquirrel · 21/09/2025 16:53

If you have a FatFace outlet (as in outlet shopping centre) they may have some very cheap. I was in the one in Street about 2 weeks ago & they were selling bikinis for £1! Came out with £164 worth of clothes (3 dresses & a pair of cropped trousers) for £20.

TheChosenTwo · 21/09/2025 18:05

Flipping everywhere now seems to sell them
as separates!
Which is great as it enables you to buy them mix and match in terms of style and sizes but I’m sure just a few years back you could buy them as a set just paying one price for one bikini.
I swim a lot too and use one pieces for that but have recently bought separate bikinis from all saints, M&S and Next.

Decathlon as previously posted. Absolutely fantastic and so reasonable!

AnnaQuayInTheUk · 22/09/2025 14:34

Thanks, I'll have a look at Decathlon. I assumed that they only sold "sporty" swim wear.
