I’m attending an awards night with dc. The dress code is formal or back tie.

I do not do formal dress! I have nothing to wear and a small budget to sort this issue (approx £80).

I am female, 5’ 6” and weigh 80kg. I carry my weight around my middle and have broad shoulders. I do work out so I’m while I’m overweight I’m fairly toned. I prefer something with short sleeves.

Can anyone help me? I’m happy to get something from Vinted to keep costs down.

Phase eight or Mint velvet?

You should definitely hire!

It isn’t complicated and there’s plenty of choice. Have a look here:

Thanks. I’ve never thought about hiring. I’ll definitely take a look.

To top things off DS broke his wrist yesterday playing the sport that this awards night is for. I doubt that even the slimmer cast he will
hopefully get at trauma clinic next week will fit inside his jacket 🤦🏻‍♀️

A sports injury is a badge of honour. No one will look negatively upon him.

No, you’re right, they won’t.

I think he’ll just have to have 1 sleeve of his shirt rolled up and skip the jacket. Shame though, he does like wearing his suit!!
