Laidback London Boots - Anyone?

I’m coveting some boots from Laidback London, but they are not cheap but do sound good. Anyone have any feedback on them? Looking for comfort without frumpi/dumpiness (I’m on the short un-skinny side) and have a wide-ish foot.

I can see the appeal of them @VerbenaGirl . I'm surprised that there doesn't seem to be any 'dupe' version.

If they are as comfortable as they look, and you can afford them, then I'd treat myself.
