Funeral outfit - feeling sh*t

Close relatives funeral coming up. Dreading it. Feeling rubbish. Going through grief, lots of emotions and really difficult family dynamics making everything feel so much harder. I feel like the only thing I can moderately control right now is what I wear, I just want to feel smart and as nice as possible on a day which is otherwise going to be really difficult. I think ill wear a dress probably? Smart, sort of mid formal I suppose. Any help please? Budget about £50ish, im a size 16 if thats helpful. Thanks girls

My condolences, @Sunflowers842.

I thought there might be something at Tu @ Sainsbury’s but there isn’t really.

Mango has this, which may meet your brief;

Mango black dress

Next has lots of nice and appropriate things.

I’m sorry for your loss. I bought a very simple black dress from Roman for my Dad’s funeral, might be worth a look.

I think they get a bit of a bad rep due to zany pattern options, but my "funeral dress" is from Popsy. Fairly cheap (they'll have something in your budget i'm sure), pockets for hankies, and usually a range of neckline/arm length to find something that broadly suits. If you look at their plain dresses you can then refine to black/navy x
