House shoes!

I’ve got Achilles tendinitis and hobbling about. I usually wear Archie’s orthotic slides in the house but even wearing those I’m hobbling.
I’ve got some heel raisers that I have been putting in trainers, and they’re really helping, but don’t really want to wear trainers in the house.
Can anyone recommend a supportive slipper/house shoe with a back (not a mule) that I can put the heel raisers in? Should have a hard sole too.

I just wear Crocs OP (same condition, and ouch, it's painful!) - my podiatrist said they're great for wearing indoors if you have Achilles tendinitis, not so great outside but indoors on the flat - fine. I guess if you wore them using the back strap, you might be able to use the heel raisers? But honestly the Crocs have been fab, and easy to take off when I roll a bottle of frozen water under my foot. I don't have 'official' Crocs either, only the Aldi ones Grin

I would also recommend Crocs.

Wow never even thought about Crocs 😂
I'm sure we’ve got a pair knocking around!

I love my crocs as indoor shoes. So comfortable and hard wearing. Get the real deal.

Fitflop make slippers

I wear Gumbies slipper boots because my feet get incredibly and painfully cold. They are not particularly beautiful but they are toasty and have a decent sole for popping out to the garage/bins/car etc. Might be worth a look?

I also have slipper boots, they are lovely and warm and keep my insoles (plantar faciitis) in place.
