What’s with the high waist jeans everywhere?

I’ve been looking for jeans and soooo many are high waisted. Why is it so popular? I can’t see the appeal.

They make the model look bandy legged. Awful in my opinion.

They really should be called bandy legged jeans, not barrel.

Someone had a thread on them on here the other day and I went off and had a look at several people who were showing how to wear them. They all looked bandy legged.

So glad they are still here.

I’m long waisted so forget mid or low rise.

They look great! Not bandy at all - they arrived this am.

Im not a fan of the high waist jeans.
Tbh i dont like jeans and having everything tucked in.
Im more of cotton leggings and an oversized cotton t-shirt or leggings and an oversized jumper.
The comfort is a dream.
Having tops tucked in is just no for me it reminds me of when my mother would dress me as a child everything tucked in and trousers pulled right up.
