DERMATICA having warehouse "issues"

OrchidFan · 18/09/2025 20:29

My product was supposed to be dispatched a week ago. They don't know when it will be dispatched. And they won't explain what the problem is so I can decide whether or not to change supplier. All they will say is it's a "warehouse issue" and ask me to trust them that it will not recur.

My online portal won't let me cancel my current order so I just...wait...

That’s annoying. I think mine is due for dispatch soon

OrchidFan · 19/09/2025 13:54

Yeah it's not really ideal. With skincare, consistency really is key. Not jumping on and off products. I have a spare vial but I can imagine a lot of people don't when it's £25/m.

To be a week overdue with still no ETA and no way to cancel is really shabby.

So Dermatica took £25 off me on 9 Sep. As of today (22 Sep) they still "don't know" when my product will be dispatched. As a "goodwill gesture" they will refund half and I've just to sit here waiting indefinitely! Cheeky bastards!

Subscription cancelled and I will try Skin & Me instead.

Shame as I preferred the Dermatica packaging but cba with their shite customer service.

Thanks for the update. Has anyone else had any issues? What is your prescription OP?

mine is due soon I think but not sure whether to delay?

OrchidFan · 22/09/2025 22:22

No worries, I'm surprised more people aren't complaining or having the same issue!

My prescription is:
0.1% tret
15% azelaic
5% tranexamic acid

Similar to mine I think. I just logged in to see if there were any warnings about stock - but nothing?!

OrchidFan · 22/09/2025 22:33

No they didn't proactively tell me anything. I had to email them and ask where it was. My account still says "your next order is due for dispatch on 12 Sep 2025".

sorry to hear you’re having problems. Consistency is key with skincare. I stopped using my prescription over the summer and my rosacea flared up - lesson learned! If anyone wants my skin and me referral link to get a discount it’s:

Thanks @Tarrarra I have an account already with Skin & Me albeit not an active subscription so don't think the referral code will work for me. But I've emailed them asking for their best deal if I switch back to them.

They seem to be having lots of issues since they moved warehouse. They are unable to send to the Channel Islands at the moment due to shipping, which is madness as all other companies manage to ship with Royal Mail.
I used the rosacea treatment but luckily I think mine is in remission as my skin looks great to me.

OrchidFan · 22/09/2025 23:38

@Isabelle70 FYI if it's just rosacea you have, you can get azelaic acid and/or ivermectin from your GP on prescription. (If it recurs). Much cheaper way of doing things than these skin subscription companies.

I'd order tret from these online pharmacies in India and Turkey except that the formulations are very drying.

It's annoying that in the UK we are treated as infants. Adults should be able to buy tret over the counter.

Skin & Me are giving me a fairly similar prescription, as below. They are also price-matching Dermatica AND giving me my first 3 months at half price.

Can top up my Azelaic acid with the stuff you can get from the GP. (Free in Scotland!)

Fingers crossed they provide a better service overall than shitebags Dermatica!

0.1 Tret
4% Azelaic
4% Niacidimide
