What tights with brown boots

I have some brown knee high boots that I'm currently wearing bare legged with either a denim dress, cream jumper dress or tan ribbed dress. Bare legs won't cut it for long though and I'm at a loss what tights to wear. The denim dress can maybe be paired with a wine coloured opaque tight (maybe?) but how about the other two dresses? Are those fleece lined sheer/skin look tights any good? If I wore brown opaques I fear brown overload.

If it helps my favourite winter coat is brown checked. I'll upload pics of the dresses, please stand by!

I’d go cream cable knit or an opaque block colour.

I’d wear low denier black.

Barely black/darkest brown sheer

I've wondered about these, they were all over Tiktok last year. Has anyone tried them and are they any good?

Interesting to see so many votes for black. That would certainly be nice and easy. I like the idea of a cable knit cream as well.

Definitely brown or cream. Black is too harsh.

I had a cheap pair I bought on Amazon last year. They were a bit of an odd shape around the bum and I kept having to readjust the crotch (maybe I'm an odd shape, but I'm by no means big at a size 10) but they were really warm and I'd absolutely get another pair from a known clothing manufacturer this time.
