Cheap face lotion

CasualDayHasGoneTooFar · 16/09/2025 18:18

I'm looking for a nice cheap face lotion. Nothing thick like a cream.

I'm older (50+) but I just want cheap. I had one called collagen from somewhere, but the brand is called "skin care" which is not helping me find it.

Any recommendations? (Preferably amazon as I dont go out much)

Simple?

Boots skincare.
This is cheap and you can order online.

I’ve got their retinol eye cream after seeing it recommended on Instagram and I’m liking it so far Smile

I quite like a lot of the simple range and it isn’t too expensive especially when on offer via Amazon.

LuckyNumberFive · 16/09/2025 19:02

I love the Garnier vitamin C range. Not expensive, I order mine from Amazon.

loveawineloveacrisp · 16/09/2025 19:02

Cerave

FurForksSake · 16/09/2025 19:05

Aldi do some good inexpensive face stuff. Or the boots everyday cucumber range is dirt cheap.

Footle · 16/09/2025 19:21

Collagen is a common ingredient , not a brand.

Freda69 · 16/09/2025 19:40

Nivea day cream moisturiser - I use the sensitive one. Usually on special offer

SunnieShine · 16/09/2025 19:44

Aldi dupes are the business.

UpMyself · 16/09/2025 19:46

I often use body lotion (Faith in Nature from Holland & Barrett). Grapefruit & Orange Natural Body Lotion | Faith In Nature.

Another fan of the Aldi Lacura range here, but I normally use whatever is to hand. I don't like anything too rich.
The Boots own brand is good especially the No 7.

ThePoshUns · 16/09/2025 20:00

The cerave range is good value and recommended by dermatologists

purplewibble · 16/09/2025 20:43

Simple day cream - costs under £5 and is spf 15. Great stuff!

suffedpeppers · 16/09/2025 20:49

Nivea day cream . I started using it when I ran out of Clinique Moisture Surge and waiting to get it duty free. I have carried on using the Nivea because it is so much better and soaks in well.

polkadothorse · 16/09/2025 20:53

Another vote for Cerave lotion.

UpMyself · 16/09/2025 21:10

Recommended by dermatologists doesn't really mean much.

Whatareyoutalkingaboutnow · 16/09/2025 21:35

Nivea lotion, the old school one in the blue bottle. Cleanser and moisturiser too.

OopsieeDaisy · 16/09/2025 21:36

Another vote for Aldi. I’ve used their Q10 day, night and eye creams for ages and been very happy with them.

crayolaviola · 16/09/2025 21:58

I like Lidl face creams

I like Lidl face creams

I like the serum

GrimDamnFanjo · 16/09/2025 22:39

Cerave all the way. There’s a day moisturiser with spf too.

Vaseline Gluta-Hya Dewy Radiance Serum-In-Lotion

£6.50 on Amazon. It smells nice and does the job - and I can vouch for it being a lotion, I ordered it and threw it away as I was looking for a cream.

Do they still do that? I used to use Boots cucumber stuff back in the ‘80s - it smelled lush.
