I saw that their palazzo jeans are now £46 and I am sure I paid £45 earlier this year.

It is but how long before their jeans creep up to the £50 mark?

The coat that I’m going to buy this year is £10 more than last year.

Well on that progression about 3-4 years.

I think it’s all been priced to discount. I have a sparks 20% off at the moment, Tescos have 25% off their clothes, next it will be Sainsbury’s…..Next never do offers but they discount heavily in their sale

I tried on a puffa jacket with fur collar and cuffs today but it was £100. I thought that was expensive for M&S.

I’d think £100 was expensive for M&S as well.

I bought a pair of cotton chinos for £29.00 and a padded jacket with corduroy collar for £75.00. I think any more than that would have been too much.

I rarely buy full price but I treated myself to a fleece yesterday and it was £46 im sure it would have been no more than £35 a few years ago.

Inflation isn't going anywhere people.
