I'm looking for something like this - which I think is probably best described as it is here as a maxi shirt dress with matching co-ordinating trousers.

I want it for smart/ casual holiday/beach wear to wear as it is shown here with the shirt dress open like a long coat or a long open shirt (I don't want to wear it as a dress ) with matching trousers.

This Me & Em thing is exactly what I want but I hate the colours which also won't suit me. I've tried googling for all sorts of combinations of maxi shirt and pants trousers sets but I've not found anything. I want the shirt/dress thing to be this long - so nearly floor/ankle length.

Please has anyone seen anything similer or any advice about what terms I should be searching for?

Random suggestion. Buy it on Vinted and use Dylon to change the colour?

LOL. Thanks for suggestion but not for me - I would make a right mess of it I'm sure. Also it's still on sale and expensive so I wouldn't think it would be costwise worthwhile to do that anyway.

@GreyAreas I wasn't really getting the same sort of thing when I was searching. They tended to be sort of long shawl unbuttoned cardigans in block colours that looked like what a art teacher who couldn't face teaching anymore would wear if they wanted to hide away.

I think maybe I wasn't using the word 'set' so thanks for suggestions I will have another go.

I wanted something floaty with a stylish print and a bit 'designer' - stripes are ok but kaftany big floral prints definitely not nor block colours.
