Need some trainers

I need some trainers. I don't really want them, but I need something to wear with dresses in the winter and I don't really want to wear boots (I wear boots with trousers/jeans/leggings and want to mix it up a bit.

I'd like a red pair. And also a basic colour / design that I could wear with jeans too. I like animal print but desperately want to stay away from the 'old lady' way of wearing it. I'm not a flashy type at all (bland even!) and that would mortify me.

Help an old girl out please?

A nice pair of Adidas SL72's or handball spezials would look good in red and can be worn with dresses or jeans and leggings.

My favourite’s are Nike Cortez. They are very comfortable, look great, come in a mirriad of colours and strangely, they make my feet look smaller!
