DM style boots, what trousers?

I’ve got a couple of pairs of DM style chunky boots from marks and while I’m ok with dresses/skirts I’m unsure what style trousers to wear them with.

I usually wear black trousers to work, either straight or slightly bootcut but the boots don’t look quite right. Anything tighter looks like I’m aiming for a skinhead/BNP look.

also confused which jeans. I’m a pear shape size 12ish

I wear the m and s harper with turn ups, sometimes put an extra fold in, mine are 10 holes

Cropped bootcuts or wide leg trousers. Turned up straight leg jeans (not skinny!)
