Tretinoin question

Longtimeposter · 12/09/2025 21:18

ive read lots of threads on here. Currently using tret in my skin+me doser but I want stronger than I’m currently being prescribed and tbh the £25 a month is now annoying me.

i understand non Uk online pharmacies sell it - any advice which product and which companies to use? Please and thank you. I love the stuff and want to continue my journey with it.

I’m in the same boat. It seems a measly prescription that barely goes up. However, if you cancel you get an email offering it at £14 a month for three months. That's the best I can suggest! If you find a cheaper way at higher strength, please let me know!

I’ve ordered 0.025% from Pharmasonline for £22 including delivery. Paid via Apple Pay.

Tretinoin Cream USP (Ret-Grow-A) 0.025% 20g

I have bought this Retinol Cream 0.05 Vitamin A Repairs Fine Lines & Wrinkles, Scar Treatment, Age and Sun Spots, Anti-Aging Formula, 30g https://amzn.eu/d/hY0x5Y3 after cancelling Dermatica. I haven’t used it yet as still using up Dermatica.

I get it for around £3-4ish per tube of 20gms. So here goes my routine with that:
Morning:
Using water to wash your face,
Sebamed clear face gel,
Garnier spf
Evening:
Cerave moisturizer,
Tretinoin (0.1) from skinorac
Sebamed clear facial gel

I bought it from Pharmasonline, as recommended on here. Quick delivery, better price. I went straight to 0.1% as I only want it for the backs of my hands. So far, no irritation.

What about Dermatica?

belle89yg · 07/03/2026 10:27

Dermatica is stronger than skin and me, I can’t remember the dose but I wouldn’t want more as I have to be careful if I overdo it as my skin will flake. I mostly use it for spot prevention than aging tbh, it’s brilliant. I’ve had to stop this week due to microneedling and I’m itching to put it back on before I break out!

@UmberMoose hi, can I ask where you buy tretinoin for such a cheap price, I used to get it from a spain chemist when on holiday. You could buy it over the counter then that was 2023 but I here now they have stopped it, I've completed run out as haven't been away for 2 years, and have been buying things from boots, but nothing comes close to the real thing, if not I will try the chemist on line that's been mentioned on here.

I’ve used skinorac. I buy 6 tubes at a time which does me near enough a year. With P&p it’s about £50

Whowhatwerewolf · 07/03/2026 19:21

I order it from AllDayChemist it arrives pretty quickly.

Yes, same. It's economical when I add azelaic acid as it crosses 80gbp so I get free shipping.
