Hair - needed volume boosting recommendations

I've always had lots of hair, not thick, but plenty of it and it's always been quite bouncy and shiny.
That is until perimenopause hit!

My hair has thinned quite a bit over the last couple of years, and often sits limply these days! It lacks shine and seems to be greasy quite quickly.

I have shoulder length hair, so not super long, and I'm growing out a bob which I hoped would help but just made it look worse 😕 It no longer holds a curl properly either when styling, no matter what I use.

I've tried numerous shampoos, mostly from Boots, Tesco etc but I can't seem to find one that leaves it looking and feeling clean, with a bit of oomph! I tend not to use any other products, apart from occasional dry shampoo, unless I'm going on a night out.

Any recommendations? I'm out this weekend and just want my hair to have some bounce again!

Have you tried root boost powder? I place it at the roots, particularly at the crown, there’s lots of brands

Yes, tried this and it does work well. I don't like the feel of it really, but it is a good product.

I wouldn't want to use it everyday though, so I'm hoping to find a a good shampoo or something a bit lighter that will still give me a boost and leave the powder for nights out.

Color Wow Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer - absolute game changer! I got it in a beauty box, I wouldn’t usually use anything for volume but gave it a go and was impressed! Have a look at videos online of people who have used it.

Aussie ausome volume shampoo . Also Fudge hair thickening spray is brilliant.

I’ve used the John Frieda Volume range for years - I occasionally try something else for a change but always come back to it.

Kerastase as above although I also use Ouai which I’m preferring at the moment
