Lemonade Dolls, bigger boobs

They look so good in the ads but don't technically do my size. However, as I don't actually expect loads of support from a very pretty bralette, I could go for a sister size with a slightly larger back. I like the fact the shoulder straps are adjustable on their bralettes (bravissimo please take note!) and the colours are great.

Looked at their size chart and see they're doing the old fashioned add 4 inches thing! (Albeit surreptitiously by asking you to measure in CM and then giving you a band size in inches that is 4 inches bigger).

Now I don't know what to think! Anyone got experience of how their sizing actually works out? I don't mind a slightly looser band but their suggested 38 inches, when my underbust measures 33, isn't going to work at all! But then, I have no idea if their sizes actually are the sizes they say.

It's so great they have a range of models on their site but some of the larger ones don't look to be in very well fitting bras. Perhaps I should heed that omen ...

I saw a post from them on Insta ages ago explaining that for their bras you need to do the add 4 thing because thats how they are made. So a 36 band would actually measure 32.

Other than that I dont know as they dont do my size and dont look at all supportive to me. Which is what I need.

That's interesting, thanks. I wonder why they still use that method? Or maybe most people still do?!

They’re really not great, unfortunately because they look so good in the ads!
My boobs aren’t even that big (34E) and they gave me no support and a weird side boob look. The band is also quite narrow so dug in to my back and made bulges.
I think they are made for small busts on slim ladies sadly

teacoffeeorpassthegin · 09/09/2025 22:30

I emailed them as my sizing was weird compared to what they said. They then told me what I should buy but I haven’t as I’ve not been brave enough!!

Just to add I measured and bought the right size, then with advice had to exchange for a different size, then exchanged that for yet another one which still wasn’t right so after all that got a refund. Good customer service to be fair just not a great product

I'm a 30GG and the larger cup one fits me ok for a round the house bra. They feel lovely but I wouldn't want to jump up and down

DelphiniumBlue · 09/09/2025 23:09

They are pretty but no support at all. I can't recall what size mine are, but I did follow the instructions exactly and the fit is fine.

Hmm I think I should probably just leave it.

Damn the power of advertising!

I thought I should update out of fairness! I eventually succumbed to their ads, and sale prices. They have changed their size calculator and as the recommended size is a sister size to my usual size (which they don't do) I thought I'd try it.

It's beautiful and very comfortable. I disagree with their recommended band size, but it does at least offer 4 hooks for tightening so I feel better about having to start not on the loosest setting. I can't get a smaller band size cos the cup sizes don't go up far enough. And I'd say the cups are a smidge small, but I'm getting away with it because it's plunge. I'm going to use it for after swimming and low impact days! And maybe sleep. I really do love how it looks on, but full price wouldn't be worth it.
