Olay Super Serum - too drying

I bought this as I wanted an all in one serum for ease. Unfortunately I am finding it very drying on my skin. Beyond the super expensive Clarins all in one serum, can you recommend something else? Multiple layers with products won’t work. I will just forget or lose interest.

Not a serum but I’ve just switched to Lush Skin Drink moisturiser and am totally converted. My skin is dry and this is hydrating without being heavy. I used to use a serum and moisturiser and still felt like it wasn’t enough. I’ve used some very expensive products in the past but the Lush one surpasses them all.

Elf holy hydration thirst drops are really good and not too expensive. I've just started using the olay super serum but it's not as good as the elf one so I will be switching back! The only downside to the elf one for me is the fact it's unscented, I do like a nice scent!

Thanks. I'll take a look at both.

Two things have helped my skin. The first was The Ordinary Aloe and NAG serum which turned my extremely dry skin and damaged skin barrier around in a week, applied morning and night. I had previously tried a retinol containing serum for months, but it did nothing for me apart from make my skin very dry. The second is L'Oreal Revitalift Laser Tri-Peptides Age Correcting Serum which is lovely.

Superdrug vitamin E range is unexpectedly good - the serum is really nice and if my skin is extra dry, I mix a bit of moisturiser with it from the same range. Really reasonably priced too 😊
