Nice, reasonably priced pyjamas

I am in the market for some new pyjamas and I would like some that are more exciting than my usual supermarket purchases. Ideally cotton, could be jersey or even flannel, but not slippy or shiny. Short-ish, size 18, love bright colours and allergic to anything ‘neutral’.

If I could afford it, I would be all over the Irregular Sleep Pattern website, but ideally a quarter of their prices!

Maybe try Next or Cyberjammies.

Their nibs, is probably worth a look.

Lynz301 · 08/09/2025 21:19

I always look at Irregular Sleep Pattern but can’t justify the price!

I would absolutely recommend Their Nibs - lots of options, they do a lot of sales and offer codes for savings and things!

lifetheuniverseandeverything42 · 08/09/2025 21:31

Also Chelsea peers. I knew there was a second place I’d liked the look of.

bridgetreilly · 08/09/2025 21:32

Hmmm, I’m finding lots of thin modal or gauzy summer pyjamas on sale, but not a lot of cozy-trying-not-to-put-the-heating-on-yet styles for autumn/winter.

Scheiser, a German company, they have shops in Denmark. Sorry, not much help but I love comfy pyjamas so want to join the thread.

I know you said not supermarket, but I think Sainsbury's Tu PJs are excellent.

Dallasdays · 08/09/2025 22:17

I love Chelsea Peers!

Illbefinejustbloodyfine · 08/09/2025 22:20

Popsy?

Chelsea Peers are awful. The modal goes bobbly and the ribbon trim gives off microfibres. I'm not a wellness type but I was actually a bit concerned wearing them near my newborn. They were in the bin in under a year due to the bobbliness anyway.

i was unimpressed by Chelsea Peers.

Cyberjammies however are SO soft and cosy and last!

Totally agree. Best by a country mile.

Unexpectedlysinglemum · 08/09/2025 22:55

The white company

pushthebuttonnn · 09/09/2025 04:16

Next waffle pyjamas, so comfy!

Sesma · 09/09/2025 04:20

Their Nibs are quite nice but long, I'm 5'10" size 14 and buy large and they fit me so depending on your height they may be too long.

Yamamm · 09/09/2025 05:50

Cyber jammies for sure. Usually buy in the sale. Currently in a pair of their super soft jersey. Pockets!
Getting in my cosy pyjamas is one of the best things about autumn.

I agree I got some lovely ones from Sainsbury’s. Lovely design and good quality

DamsonIcecream · 09/09/2025 06:30

But what’s the deal with all the cocktail glasses, bow ties and “fun” pictures on pyjamas? (I’m looking at you, Tu and M&S). I’m not four.

SpiritedFlame · 10/09/2025 11:58

Another vote for Popsy here.

Sixredjumpersoneblackskirt · 10/09/2025 12:15

I got some next pjs in the clearance section for £7 a few weeks ago. I have another identical pair which was given to me as a gift so I bought a second pair. They wash great and are really comfortable.

I can't stand all the cutesy stuff either. I just want a nice stripe or tartan print or even a plain colour. I often look at mens pyjamas because they're far more sensible

bridgetreilly · 10/09/2025 18:51

I don’t mind a print, but a lot of the ones I’ve seen this year are just not my thing at all. I did buy some in Sainsbury’s yesterday, which are lovely white cotton double gauze that are just about okay now but won’t be as the weather gets colder.
