Has anyone done this and could recommend a package? Thinking about this but need to do a huge amount of research first.

I had a lid lift done by NHS for medical reasons. No visible difference! Just some permanent discolouration close to the lash line.
You are wise to do research.

Does your upper eyelid cause vision problems…if so then this will be done on NHS
If it doesn’t… then don’t do it! Especially not in Turkey!

Why on earth would you go to Turkey for it other than cost. You get what you pay for… And think about it, any complications you can hardly nip back to see the surgeon again. Madness.Sorry, I realise that wasn’t your question but I just had to say it!

My mum also qualified for blepharoplasty on the NHS. Have you spoken to your GP as a 1st point?

I have no idea about having it done in Turkey but wouldn't recommend anything being done there TBH. I used to work in the NHS and had to deal with/attempt to fix patients having botched procedures abroad!

I have no recommendations or opinions but I do see that a lot of people go to Faceland in Amsterdam to get this done.

And I used to provide services for lawyers specialising in such botched procedures. Put me off having anything done in Turkey or similar countries for life.

Don't go to Turkey for goodness sake. Go to Nords clinic in Lithania. They have English translators, arrange all flights and transfers and deal with any surgery problems for free.
My sister lives there and all her friends go there and loads of Europeans.
Im having a full plane face and neck lift and my friend had a full post weight loss body lift there last year.
Dsis researched it all for me, research is her job.

Your local ICB website (integrated care board) will tell you what the NHS will cover and what you need to have and do to qualify for blepharoplasty on the NHS. We used to do quite a few when I worked as a nurse in Queen Victoria hospital in East Grinstead. It's a famous plastics and reconstruction hospital. They do them privately there too.

Botched eyelid surgery in Turkey can result in serious complications, including infections, severe pain, inability to close the eyes, asymmetry, and hollow-looking eyes, often due to excessive tissue removal or poor surgical planning. Many cases are due to a lack of adequate follow-up care, with patients sent home too soon, and clinics misleadingly promoting cheap prices and quick recovery. Patients may require emergency care and corrective surgeries upon returning home, and the lack of ability to seek recourse or sue the surgeon is common.

you’d be completely stupid to risk your appearance, eyesight and even your life having surgery in Turkey.

Can I ask why you’re not considering having it done privately in the UK? Is it cost?
