Cotton socks help🙁

I can really only wear cotton and silk since going through menopause. Everything else irritates or itches. I can tolerate elastene as it’s covered by the cotton.

My legs get cold in winter. I like knee length socks so the cold can’t creep in. Not calf length. And l want chunky ribbed ones.

Do these things exist? Every winter l look and can’t find any.

I'm similar but I find pure merino wool (or even better, merino silk blend) ok on my arms below the elbow, and legs below the knee (not on my torso or thighs though, shudder). If you think that's worth a try, Falke do some nice knee high merino socks.

If merino is a definite no, how about bamboo ones? They're very silky and smooth, SockShop do knee high ones.

The ones I linked are bamboo blend and look reasonably chunky! They're listed as diabetic socks but they look great for sensory stuff as well tbh.

Maybe look at riding socks. There are lots of long socks available for equestrians.

I have an amazing pair of socks from the White Company. They are summer ones so not chunky, but I think it would be worth looking there as they seem to have some thicker ones.

They don’t have any socks, but now I’m hankering after these. 😭
