Are they worth it ? The cotton cable knit ones which are around £165
100 % cotton
seen in lots of different colours look really nice wondering if worth the £££, I know some people have collections of these

I like them, but have seen some in TK MAXX if you want cheaper (still £65 ish)

Absolutely not. I washed one of ds's oversized cotton ones and it shrank to a third of the size. Now his GF wears it. I washed it on 20 so should've been fine.

Oh no , it says machine washable aswell , do you suggest handwashing if I do buy one ? It’s put me off now though as so expensive to shrink

Vinted 😉

Pandapie37 · 07/09/2025 06:35

Going to think about it , Vinted I got told is full of fakes ? If I buy I’ll just have to pay the price but I might check out tk maxx first to see if I can find one thank you

They have these at the outlet in Ashford I think if you’re local.

Dh used to work on a mill years ago and he said it's because the cotton wasn't finished properly and therefore will shrink however it's washed. Ds got his from Bicester Village outlet .

I have one of theirs I got in a sale a while ago. I always wash things like that on the ‘hand wash’ cycle on my machine - it’s presumably even more gentle than the ‘delicates’ wash. Seems to work, no shrinkage. No real spin so you dry it flat, eg over the bath.

Im with the PP - Crew

DH only ever wore RR, now hes wised up and hes very happy with Crew

My DD got one new with tags on Vinted (genuine but there are loads of fakes, quite easy to tell by price / colours / what else they are selling etc). She loves it, I have washed it on wool / delicates and came out fine but told her to keep it for best so I’m not washing too often.
