I’m looking for a new hairdryer to replace my ancient basic babyliss dryer. I gave quite long frizzy hair.

I’m considering the Cloud nine airshot pro, the GHD Helios or maybe even the Dyson.

I’m getting a bit confused by the different Dyson models as they seem to start at around £250.

Lots of people seem to rate the GHD Helios, but it looks big and clunky. Can’t really find much out about the Cloud 9 airshot.

So if anyone has one of these please tell me what you think.

Parlux

Came here to say Parlux I noticed the previous post already had. Best hairdryers ever. Straightforward, nothing fancy but super strong airflow. Very satisfying indeed. I believe the hairdressers choice.

Totally agree re: Parlux. The best.

I have thick, long hair which can be frizzy with the wrong products/ technique. I have a Dyson and consider it absolutely worth it for at least halving my drying time

I wanted a hairdryer that calmed my wavy hair but didn't cost loads; I bought this and am really happy with it. The long lead is great!

I have thickish hair but lots of it; I can get the odd ringlet if I dry naturally but it's more loose curls. I can use this without even brushing at the same time, and my hair comes out straight but with volume.

I had a Parlux for over 15 years, first one lasted 6 years and the other one is still going but getting a bit hot. Dh bought me a Dyson, it's incredible, I have really thick hair and it dries is so quickly. It's light too.

Sorry picture didn't show!

Will attach to this one but it's the DIVA Pro Styling compact hairdryer.
