Has anyone tried / used Laura Geller Baked-n-Brighten colour foundation for mature skin. I wondered if it gives a better more even cover than liquid foundation which I’m finding sometimes too heavy .

Haven’t used that but I swear by balance and brighten. It’s a game changer. Doesnt sit in creases in my face. Easy to get off at night. Seems to stay put all day.

My only disappointment is that it’s made of talc etc nowadays instead of minerals like it used to be. Cheapskates.

I love my Laura Geller baked foundation. Definitely more flattering than liquid.

I use it every day and love it. I think it gives me a much more natural effect compared to liquid foundation. I'd also recommend the retractable kabuki brush to apply it, it often comes as a set.

The only thing I'd say is take your time over colour matching. I was recommended Fair but it's too dark for me so ended up buying Porcelain which is perfect. I use Fair in summer when I have a bit of a tan.

Her Jelly Balms are also really good too.

I use Laura Geller, am late 50s. Big fan here too. I've always been one for a light touch on make up though.

I love it. Great change for the better.

I love it on its own or, I just found out how to make my tinted moisturizer last all day, by putting a light layer of balance and brighten over, I nearly threw them out as I usually get no more than a morning before they disappear on my oily combination skin, but a little balance and brighten it last all day.

Thanks for all the reply’s and tips I think I will be giving it a go 😊

Have a look on qvc and see if they have it. You get 60 days to try at home. If you get the wrong colour you can therefore return it. You only lose postage both ways.

The colours changed slightly when they replaced minerals with talc as I used to buy a darker named shade but like a pp said, now I use a lighter named shade. Which is exactly the same colour as what I used to use.

I love it. I too got Fair as a recommendation, then Porcelain. They told me to keep the Fair or pass it on. I do occasionally mix them. I like the sparkle (primer). As I've gotten older it seems to even the skin and enhances the balance and brighten. Sign up for the emails/texts. They'll bombard you with great deals. I ended up with the starter kit (blush, highlighters eyeshadow), spackle and eye liner, balance and brighten for $60 (or near that) or something ridiculous. I'm light on makeup and this covers all my needs.

I use porcelain after trying the light and fair. I love the cover it’s not too much but is buildable. Have tried balance and glow and balance and brighten. Prefer brighten as the glow makes me too shiny. I do use a No 7 powder to set although not strictly necessary but it changes under my glasses without.
