Theres no way I'd spend that much on a coat then try to remove the logo! It should be well made, which will mean it will be difficult to impossible to remove the logo.
Its hideous, I hate logos on clothes and the loudness of that one is awful.

WarmWasabi · 01/09/2025 11:12

At first I thought it was part of the selling technique but no, it’s supposed to look like that. Hideous. Really ruins it.

Love the coat. A really great winter choice but as above I wouldn't spend that much on a cost they mess about with it trying to remove the logo. I agree though that the logo arms do spoil it a bit.

AndSoFinally · 01/09/2025 15:27

I don’t think so. Zooming in, I can’t see any stitching you could unpick, and if it’s puffa coat material, even if you unpicked it, you’d see all the needle holes.

you could probably colour it in with sharpie and just be left with plain black stripes, but I don’t think I’d pay full price and then do that as it’s not going to look perfect

Urgh - how grim!

Can never understand why people rave about this brand.

I also can’t see options for easy thread snipping. But it would be wrong to buy it anyway, you’d only encourage them …

(You could always order it, purely for closer inspection, and then decide if anything can be done with the ghastly banners.)

henlake7 · 01/09/2025 20:35

I'd just look for a similar coat if I was you.
It's not just the arms, there is also a patch on the back and the name around the collar. It's just lousy with brand name placement!
Shame, I agree it would be a nice coat but that just makes it look tacky.

WarmWasabi · 01/09/2025 20:37

I think you’re all right, it’s a non starter. Why do brands do this? It’s an expensive coat to look like a walking advertisement. So tacky.
Back to warm winter coat hunting I go.

I like the idea that it is not solid black which is so common. But I agree with others that the arm bands looks silly.
