Winter shoes for work

What's the current trend for winter smartish shoes in the UK (so rain, damp, bit of snow on pavements?) I had chunky loafers last year as they are slightly sturdier than pumps but mulling on a change. To wear with trousers. Not boots as I have millions. Flats. No trainers.

Well according to Vogue UK, brogues/derbies are in for autumn/winter so they’re a good option for work. Just as well as that’s why I’m wearing regardless 😜

I just bought these in the sale from Tracey Neuls to add to my (far too many!) collection of Geek shoes from her that are great for work as they’re really comfy, very practical (they were originally designed as shoes you could being also cycle in) but still look smart.

I do also have these if I need to look like a ‘proper grown-up’:

I also have these bought 2 years ago:

And yes, I have a Tracey Neuls addiction. 😂It’s been over a decade now and I show no signs of getting over it. I love her shoes. They’re very well made, very comfy and I always get lots of compliments from people. And I think it’s important to support independent businesses.

Thank you for suggestions!

I suppose the perfect winter shoe would be non lace up (as I am terribly lazy) and also a tiny bit feminine but not too dainty. But not too clumpy. It's very tricky. Those Tracey Neul's loafers are nice although I'm not sure about the two tone.
