Just noticed there are a couple of people on MN planning weddings at the moment.

Does anyone want to show their wedding dress ?

Obviously, already marrieds with any pics of theirs are also welcome

Indulge me - I'm bored and a teeny bit wedding dress obsessed at the moment (looking for mine for November)

Ok - this is the one I am considering here Its actually a bridesmaid dress but its quite an informal wedding and I don't want a bit white dress

That's beautiful Tilly. I got married in red so I'm a big fan of non white weddings.

I got married 5 years ago and mine is no longer available. Sorry !

It was made by Veromia and had an embroidered boned bodice, spaghetti straps and a fairly voluminous meringuey skirt. Hated it on the hanger, though it looked like one of those loo roll dollies, but it looked perfect on.

I like the Watters one. It is very OTT for a bridesmaid, I think, but nice for a bride

I was on a serious budget and mine was this one from an ebay store

Looked really nice on and I was a size 20 on my wedding day. Cost less than the dress my SIL bought to war to my wedding!

Beautiful dresses .

Booge - I'm torn between having red or dark green. I think green suits my colouring better and is a bit more "unusual" - but that's probably because its supposed to be bad luck

Foghorn - I wanted a Maggie Sottero one but then Kat Slater got married in the one I had chosen Couldn't afford it anyway!

I was very tempted by dark green but too many reminders of my old school uniform. I think dark green would look lovely.
