Belt with these trousers?

I know these trousers are a MN favourite.
I also think they are great (hang well/look smart) and I have several colour ways for work.
But….. I always think wearing a belt looks more put together (eg tan belt, cream blouse, blue trousers).
Do you think you could wear a belt or would it look odd with these trousers as the tab bits would stick out of the back under the belt? It does have belt loops though?

Model is wearing a belt in some pictures I note but probably looks strange from behind!

No belt. You use the loop at the rear to adjust the fit.

Thanks for response-I know that’s how you adjust trousers. Just can you wear a belt over the top (like the model does in some shots) without it looking odd?
