Make up for 13 yo

My DD turns 13 in September. She has asked for “blush highlighter and powder (good quality please)”

What brands should I be looking for? I wear Clinique makeup but I’m not sure that’s cool enough for a young teen 🤣

I want to get something nice because at her age I wasn’t allowed to keep up with this stuff.

Ooh probably best asking her for some ideas of brands as they change so much! Mine likes everything from P Louise and Elf to Charlotte Tilbury! Glossier is also a must have at that age.

I wouldn't buy anything pricey unless she knows what she's doing with it. I was in Primark the other day and they had a new range I hadn't heard of before, Caprice I think it was called. Items were priced around £7 to £10 and all the young teens were looking at it. Edited to say the brand was called Catrice.

Best advice is to take her to a beauty counter and get colour matched if you decide to get foundation too. My mum took me to the Clinique counter at a similar age.
Rare beauty do lovely blush and highlighters. Elf as well and a bit cheaper. A nice gentle make up remover would be good as well.
